Since May 2017, Britt Teasdale has been working with mentor and artist Michelle Yee as part of SOFIA's inaugural mentorship program, a women-powered photography organization in Toronto. "The story goes like this" is a series of images and writing centered on the theme of sexual assault developed as part of her mentorship with Michelle. The series was originally published on SOFIA.
